Healing Hike with Bilen (11/5)
In this unprecedented time of collective grief, we all need tending to. Much of our time is spent in a state of overwhelm or disconnect. This hike is an invitation to engage your curiosity and see what else is possible when we gather in the spirit of healing.
Guided by Bilen Berhanu, a licensed NYS hiking guide, grief worker, and GwG-certified End-of-Life Doula, this short gentle hike will take us to a beautiful place where we can rest our bodies and experience the healing power of nature.
Join us as we learn ways to name our grief so we may discover ways to work with it. Grief can be expansive and generative if approached as a necessary part of living fully embodied lives. We will tune into our deep knowing and intuition to reveal what we carry and how we want to walk with it. We are so honored to hold space to explore being present to grief and the ways it shows up in our body-minds.
Most trips will depart at 6:30am near the Barclays Center and 7:00am near Grand Central. You will be notified in advance if departure times and locations differ for your trip.
