Join us for a day of adventure in the Catskill Mountains on May 31!
This fun-filled day in nature includes:

Hiking: two hiking options, one open to all levels and one that is more challenging

Gourmet lunch: a delicious, healthy lunch with vegan and vegetarian options, as well as snack options available throughout the day, such as assorted trail mixes and granola bars

Wellness practice: optional guided meditation/forest bathing or outdoor skills instruction

Brewery visit: post-hike stop at a local brewery

Psychology of Survival with Mountaineering Legend Verne Tejas: optional Psychology of Survival talk with mountaineering legend Verne Tejas, a professional guide and climber who has summited the highest peak on every continent 10 times each
Schedule
7:00am Meet at 3 Enterprise Dr, Shelton, CT, and 645 5th Ave New York, NY, to board 15-person vans for the ride upstate. We'll have coffee, tea, donuts, granola bars, and fruit available for breakfast.

~9:45 Arrival at Trailhead
~12:30 Lunch on trail
~1:00 Hike out
~3:00 Vans head to post-hike brewery
~5:00 Vans head back to NYC
~6:00 Rest stop
~7:00 Drop off at 3 Enterprise Dr, Shelton, CT, and 645 5th Ave New York, NY

Hike Challenge Levels
When you register for the hike below, please choose your preferred hike level.

Gentle: For a very mellow day in the woods with the least amount of hiking (less than 5 miles) and plenty of time to take photos and sit and enjoy the scenery, this is your route!

Challenging: For a slightly more physical day, choose this option. We'll hike at a brisk pace, but with plenty of time to stop and enjoy viewpoints and scenery.
What Do I Need to Bring With Me?
Must have
💧 2, 1-liter water bottles
🎽 Wear: Comfortable, breathable clothes. Standard workout clothes are great for hiking
🥾 Footwear: Sturdy sneakers, trail runners, or hiking boots. We’ll let you know well in advance if conditions call for special footwear.
🧣A few extra layers of clothes for breaks
Good to have
🌧️ Rain shell
🕶️ Sunglasses
🧢 Hat
Your guides will handle all group gear, including safety, sanitation, water filtration, etc.
