We hope you had a festive and frightening Halloween!

We went out with an awesome group and enjoyed the best of upstate NY on a Haunted Hippy Halloween weekend, curated by DBA & UAG. This Extraordinary Adventure started with a Friday night hike into Devil's Kitchen, where we enjoyed a gourmet dinner and roaring campfire (plus Dave's fire-baked cinnamon graham apples!)

On Saturday morning, we hiked to Hell's Hole waterfalls!

Then up and over Overlook mountain to explore haunted ruins 

And take in frightening views from atop the firetower. 

We then hiked down the mountain to visit Woodstock for the annual Halloween Parade--with these local characters, it was hard to tell who was in costume! 

Ready for hot showers, we checked into our quaint streamside cottage, stoked up the fireplaces, and feasted on awesome local cuisine--takeout!

Sunday started with a great brunch at Bread Alone, followed by a visit to the Woodstock flea!

 And we still had time to pick some wild apples and visit Vinnie's Farm!
