Sample Itineraries
Extended family multi-night camping, canoeing, and fishing trip with kosher menu
We worked closely with a grandfather to plan a four-night camping and canoe trip for his eight grandchildren in the deep wilderness Adirondack wilderness. The children enjoyed swimming, fishing, and canoeing while bonding, learning valuable skills, and star gazing each night. The guides maintained a kosher menu for the family while still offering filling and delicious meals for all of the adults and children. Over many years of running this trip, the older children now help teach the younger children backcountry skills while on their adventure.
Mom and daughter camping overnight
When her ten-year-old daughter told her mom that she wanted to go camping, she contacted us to plan a learning camping trip. Over the course of a few backpacking overnights, the pair learned how to hike, read a map, set up their gear, cook over a stove, and build a fire, as well as how to plan a safe and exciting adventure. They have now car-camped and camped in the forest together on their own!
Children's forest birthday party:
This fun-filled birthday celebration in the forest included canoeing, archery, hiking, and cake and hot cocoa around the campfire. We chose a location ideal for exploration and convenience for the guests ranging from infant to grandparent.
