Bushwhacks

Bushwhacking is simply hiking off-trail, navigating for ourselves instead of on a trail. Unlike common perception, there is no cutting of anything required (or allowed!). These hikes offer a much more intimate experience with the forest, and you'll be amazed what you discover when you get a little ways off the beaten path. Some peaks have no trail and require a bushwhack to summit. Other times we choose to bushwhack to avoid crowds or to reach a favorite camping spot. We may bushwhack all or part of a trip and your guides will take care of navigation and teach you the best way to move through the forest without a trail.
