🍁 Fall Foliage Paddle

There may be no better way to experience the Catskills in autumn than from the water! Surrounded on all sides by forests ablaze in fall color, we'll spend a leisurely day paddling through one of the most beautiful seasons of the year.

This mellow adventure is perfect for first-time paddlers and offers even the most avid Catskills hikers an entirely new perspective on the landscape they love. As we explore the shoreline and hidden coves, there will be opportunities to cast a line, search the shores for wild apples, and simply soak in the sunshine and spectacular scenery.

Of course, this wouldn't be a Destination Backcountry Adventures trip without some good food! Your guides will serve an especially indulgent lunch, giving us plenty of time to relax, enjoy the views, and savor a beautiful fall day in the woods.

No canoe experience is necessary—just bring your sense of adventure and a willingness to see the Catskills from a whole new perspective!
