Join us for a guided hike to the summit of Windham High Peak, one of the Catskills’ iconic 3500-foot mountains. This route offers a perfect introduction to Catskills peak hiking, combining gradual terrain with a few steeper, more challenging sections.

As we ascend, we’ll pass through a diverse range of ecosystems, from hardwood forests to an enchanting grove of towering Norway spruce that gives this hike a truly unique feel. Along the way, your guide will help you navigate steeper terrain while sharing insights into the landscape, ecology, and wildlife of the region.

At the summit, we’ll take in sweeping mountain views and enjoy a well-earned lunch before beginning our descent. After our hike, we’ll unwind with an optional visit to a nearby Catskills brewery, rounding out a full day of adventure with a well-deserved refresh.

Most hikes offer beautiful scenery, but summiting a Catskills High Peak adds a sense of accomplishment and perspective that makes the experience truly memorable.

What Do I Need to Bring With Me?

Must have
💧 2, 1-liter water bottles
🎽 Wear: Comfortable, breathable clothes. Standard workout clothes are great for hiking
🥾 Footwear: Sturdy sneakers, trail runners, or hiking boots. We’ll let you know well in advance if conditions call for special footwear.
