Notes from the Field—Boats, Berries, Beaver Skeletons & more!
Summer is off to an amazing start in the woods! Berries are ripe, boats are in the water and the wilderness must be explored! Hike, camp, paddle, swim, or chill in a berry patch—whatever adventure you're looking for, we can make it happen.
We're in the second week of our six week Summer Camp Adventures with the Cliffs LIC and already we've seen a family of foxes, picked wild berries and did a lot of climbing—indoor and outdoor! If you know a budding adventurer age 6-12 who would enjoy a great week of adventure, please contact us for details—we'd love to have them join us!
Summer is also an awesome time for canoeing and kayaking and we have a few spots remaining on our Summer Catskill Day Paddles. Down to try something different? We are super excited to be introducing Full Moon Paddles and custom Canoe & Kayak Adventures! Grab a few friends and let us put you on some great water. As always, we're stoked to offer our canoe trips with our friends at Upstate Adventures Guides—Dave and Will have been hard at work carrying canoes through the woods to discover pristine ponds and lakes to share with you.
We're also just hitting the peak of wild berry season! The first blueberries have been exceptional, the blackberries and huckleberries are coming in, and we've even found mulberries, black raspberries, and wineberries! Join us for a most relaxing day of wild berry harvesting, swimming, and light hiking on a Berries & Swimming Adventure or check out the details on our Day Adventures or Overnight Adventures, in July and August, most visit a berry patch or two!
Oh, did we mention a beaver skeleton in the title?
We're outside just about 7 days a week and we want to see you out there too!
