Join us for a challenging and rewarding hike to the summits of Peekamoose and Table Mountains, two of the Catskills’ iconic 3500-foot peaks. This route is a favorite for early summer, offering a beautiful progression through diverse landscapes and a true sense of accomplishment.

We’ll begin alongside the scenic Neversink River, easing into the day with gentle, rolling terrain before transitioning into a long, steady climb toward the summits. Unlike many Catskills hikes, this trail avoids technical rocky scrambles, making it a great option for hikers ready to step up from moderate terrain without the added strain on the knees.

As we gain elevation, we’ll enter a magical spruce-fir forest, where the environment shifts dramatically and ancient trees create a quiet, almost otherworldly atmosphere. Along the way, we’ll pass seasonal wildflowers and take in sweeping viewpoints before reaching our summit destinations.

This hike is more than just distance, it’s a journey through some of the Catskills’ most unique ecosystems, culminating in the achievement of summiting two peaks in a single day.
